Friday favorites: feelin’ the love
Happy Friday! This week I’m feelin’ the love. I hope you are too.
But first thing’s first–remember to enter my blogiversary drawing! You could win a prize selected especially for you.
Now back to Friday Favorites…
I love it when my daughter is awed by the beauty of the clouds and wants to make sure I’m not missing it. Thank you Ashley.
And one more cloud picture, just because I love them!
I love it when Larry takes me to dinner and the pasta comes out looking like this–and it tastes just as good. Thank you Larry for date night, and thank you Mimi’s Cafe for a delicious meal.
I love it when we use the fireplace for the first time each fall. It’s just so cozy. Thanks Mother Nature for fall, and thanks Larry for maintaining the fireplace.
I love it when I get my fingernails and toenails done on the same day. Thanks Meghan and Jenny at Color My Nails!
I love it when we have an evening with the grandchildren. This time it was Tessa and Saira.
And this week’s pumpkin tasting: good ole pumpkin chocolate chip cookies!
That’s it for me this week. I hope you are feelin’ the love too. Let us know all about it in the comments
May you be surrounded by love. May you be well supported.
And one last thing, I’ve been featured on Grammy’s Grid in Dee’s series of Blogging Grandmothers interviews. Please show her (and me) some love and check it out!
I love doing little things that make you love me a little more then you did before 🙂
I love the note on my bathroom mirror that says:”What can I do to make Christie’s day a little bit better?”(I wrote it, not Christie)
I love to travel the world with you, try new things and make new friends l.
I love spending time at Hawkes Landing , having a fire and beating you at Yahtzee .
I love our crazy grandchildren, and I love you for just being you!

Ah thanks Larry. I love all these things too–except when you beat me at Yahtzee. We both know I’m more fun to be with when I win!
Happy Friday to you too and have a great weekend! Sharing your post 🙂
Thanks Dee!
I love it when my students at school make me laugh. This week a second grade boy said to me “I know you’re not a grandma, but you look like one.” Two days later a different second grade girl told me “I like your teeth.” I just love to laugh!?
I love it! Of course, I would say, “I know you are a grandma, but you don’t look like one!”
I love your positive nature and your gratitude, Christie!
And I was glad to see ‘pumpkins’ on your list. I love the passion that you have for them!
Everytime that I now think of pumpkins, I think of this blog!
Ah thanks Donna! There really is so much in every day to be grateful for–and by the way, I’m drinking a pumpkin ale right now. 🙂
I love it when an unexpected card of encouragement from my sister (you) arrives in the mail on the day I need it most. Thank you Christie! And I love it when during my musical theatre students post-concert group reflection say things like, “in this class, I feel like I’m with family, and I can totally be myself.”
Ah, I’m so glad the card arrived at just the right time. I love you bunches! That’s a lovely compliment you received from a student. You are a wonderful teacher.
