Friday favorites – so much to be grateful for
Can you believe it’s November already? The month of gratitude, and I have much for which to be grateful, so this week’s Friday Favorites are in the form of thank yous.
Thank you Ashley for having lunch with me, and thank you Zupas for the delicious salad and red pepper soup (and, of course, the un-pictured chocolate-dipped strawberry that comes with every meal).
Thank you Mother Nature for perfect running conditions on a Saturday morning, and thank you to all the people involved in creating and maintaining the Jordan River Parkway.
Thank you Larry for my new iPhone 7. Thank you Kassie and Michelle at Verizon for the great service. Thank you Apple for the much-improved camera and for making the iPhone 7 water resistant, so I could ditch the bulky water-tight case for this fun Kate Spade case.
Thank you Jenny for making magical healing sugar cookies for Larry. They did make him feel better–and he shared them with me!
Thank you to our children for the adorable grandchildren and for sharing photos of them in their Halloween costumes. (Evidently, the older boys are too cool for dressing up or just for sending photos to Grandpa and Grandma.)
Thank you Wells for volunteering to share a piece of your prized Halloween haul and then remembering what kind I like.
Thanks Ashley for bringing the munchkins over. Although, I guess Wells no longer qualifies as a munchkin, since he is as tall as you now.
And THANKÂ YOUÂ for continuing to follow my blog.
That’s it for my week. What were the highlights of yours? Or more generally, what are you grateful for? Thank you, in advance, for commenting.
This week I’m grateful for coffee deliveries from my husband, singing in choir, going on a walk with a fellow mom-of-an-infant friend (on a GORGEOUS fall day, no less), and a baby that sleeps through the night!
Those are all remarkable things! You are one lucky lady.
I love that phone case! How fun! I’m thankful for my amazing kids and husband. And Dr. Pepper. ?
Thanks Tiffany. Replace Dr. Pepper with Diet Coke, and I’m right there with you. 🙂
I’m thankful for our Son-in-law Buddy.
(And Moo). They went up to Hawkes Landing and winterized the cabin. Drained everything, got everything under cover , and brought all the refrigerator good and canned goods down.
We just mentioned to him about helping us Sunday, and he went up at 2:30 and got home at 7:00!
So thankful!
And Christie. Thank you for going out of your way to help me while my wing is wounded, so thankful for your understanding and help!
I, too, am grateful for Buddy and Maddi’s help. I don’t know how we’d get along without them. And, Larry, you are welcome. Not much longer now! We’ll get you patched up good as new.
I have millions of things to be grateful for but one I’ll mention today is the kids I work with. I’m grateful they teach me patience and make me laugh every single day!
Children will do that!
Magical sugar cookies? My kind of medicine! I am extra thankful for my baby sister this week who has really helped me out!
Baby sisters are wonderful. I have an older sister that’s pretty great as well.
