Friday favorites: fitness, food, and furniture

My week was full–full with fitness, food, family, and furniture!

It started with fitness. I renewed my yearly membership at the Park Center in Murray. I have to say I love this place. It is perfectly situated between my office and my home; it is well-maintained; the staff is friendly; and there is an indoor track (even if it is only 1/10 mile per lap).

I’m throwing this photo in, because hey, who doesn’t love a sweaty post-run selfie?

I hurried home to clean up, and Larry and I went to one of our favorite Mexican restaurants, Morelia’s. Running three miles in the morning means you can eat anything you want the rest of the day, right?

And then it was off to RC Willey to buy a new couch (you know, to rest up from the running and the eating). The funny thing was, the lady that helped us turned out to be my mom’s cousin. We caught up on extended family and bought this new couch.

Looking through my camera roll, it would appear that the next picture-worthy moment involved more food. This time it was ramen with Jessi at JINYA Ramen Bar. It was a snowy day, and this warm comfort food was just the ticket.

While it may be a stretch to say a life without ramen is not worth living, the ramen was life-enriching!

And finally, I leave you with a beautiful sight. This, my friends, is blue sky, something that has been in short supply this winter. Two days of this has completely changed my attitude. Thank you Mother Nature!

Hope springs eternal--blue sky at last
