Here we are at Friday again. It’s been a challenging week, but the thing I love about Friday Favorites is it reminds me to look for the good things–and there are always good things. In the words of Baloo, the bear from Jungle Book, “You’ve got to accentuate the positive; eliminate the negative.”
How could you not smile at this beautiful face, so proud after winning third place in her school spelling bee. Go Piper!
Girls dinner is always a highlight, even more so when it includes a chocolate-covered cream puff masterpiece.
Not all delicious food has to be “bad” for you. Larry fixed a delicious, nutritious Sunday dinner.
And while we’re on the subject, over the holidays, my coworkers and I earned the reputation of being the most unhealthy department (and those decadent daily treats were worth it!). Now we’re trying to improve our image–and our bodies–with daily fitness breaks.
What could be better on a cold, snowy day than roasted red pepper soup–except maybe a side of berry salad to remind you that spring will come eventually.
And last, but definitely not least, we took these monkeys to Desert Star to see Indiana Bones–Raiders of the Walmart.
What was the best part of your week?
