It’s time for Friday Favorites, and I’ve spent a lot of time outdoors this week, which makes me a happy woman. Kudos to Mother Nature! I also have the winner of the getting-to-know-you drawing to announce and my final week of 10k training, so let’s get started. You all know by now how much I…
Should I stretch before or after running? Maybe both, or not at all? I hear that question a lot. I’ve asked it myself. Read the magazines or look online, and you’ll find a confusing mix of opinions, even among the experts. I am not one of those experts, and I don’t have a degree in…
This week was extra special, because my sweet mother in law turned 90 years old, and we had a party to celebrate. But first… I started the week with this beautiful Strawberry Blue Salad and chicken tortilla soup from Wingers. Followed by another great weekend at Hawkes Landing enjoying these spectacular views. This week also…
This week was fantastic from start to finish. Starting with my beautiful nails by Meghan (Tiramisu and Rose Glitter) and my new book. I love Friday favorites, because it’s a chance to focus on all of the little happy moments that occurred during the week. And there was a lot to love about this week. What’s not to love about getting your nails done–especially a beautiful baby blue! You know I love running outdoors, especially when the weather…
I have an eye twitch—have had for three days now. The lower lid on my right eye twitches for a couple of seconds every few minutes. It’s pretty much driving me crazy, so I did what any normal person would do—I Googled “common causes of an eye twitch.” Because, you know, Googling an ailment is…
This Friday Favorites is all about the signs of spring (well mostly about the signs of spring; I might have thrown in some other random stuff that made me smile). Let’s start with the flowers. I just love tulips. They pop up in the most beautiful colors and shapes just when you need them most. And…
